Message the cost of the associated fuel system and the fact that you need huge injectors unavailable for the Z makes it a tall mountain to climb. I have tuned dsm's for E85 and it seems you need atleast 35 % more fuel than conventional gasoline. Since E85 is right around 4 bux a gallon at the AFB here, adding another 35 % brings you dangerously close to the price of 110 octane gas. Especially when you factor the 116 mile round trip to pick up the gas and the favors you have to ask to get on base, the cost savings are not as good as it seems on paper. Maybe when the fuel is readily available it might be a better idea.

I have noticed water temps drop 10 - 15 deg when you go WOT with E85 and you can put your hand on the plenum and barely get it warm. It would be an interesting fuel for rodracing applications :)
